Ryan Antunez

Co-founder

After five years volunteering at an animal rescue in California's high desert, Ryan witnessed firsthand how dangerous heat can be for dogs with no way to call for help. She also grew up with two dogs in Southern California and saw not only them, but many others struggle in the heat. Those experiences became the driving force behind furcast.

Heidi Chen

Co-Founder

Heidi lives in Taiwan's sticky, humid heat with her Sheltie, whose double coat is basically a winter jacket. After constantly worrying on daily walks, she realized looking at a panting dog isn't going to prevent heatstrokes. She co-founded furcast to build a practical solution, so she doesn't have to worry about her dog being outside anymore.

Isadora Steele

Co-Founder

Isadora is a high school student from Argentina and a member of the furcast team. She joined the project because of her love for dogs and her belief that no dog should suffer from a preventable heatstroke. Inspired by her own dog, Rosita, she's helping develop furcast to give dog owners peace of mind and keep dogs safe during every adventure.

Ishayan Das

Co-Founder

Ishayan is a high school student in the Bay Area. He got into this because of Miko, his six-year-old Labradoodle, who is not great at knowing when to stop running around in the heat. Miko wore the first prototype for a week. Most of what furcast knows about resting, walking, and running came from those walks.

Avya

Co-Founder

After growing up in Texas with dogs around her, Avya co-founded furcast after recognizing how difficult it can be for dog owners to detect overheating before it becomes dangerous. She set out to create a smarter, more proactive way to keep dogs safe.

William Jing

Co-Founder

Growing up with his Pomeranian, Huanjuan, William came to see pets as family and often worried about her overheating in silence. Inspired to make pet care more proactive, he co-founded furcast to use intelligent technology to give owners peace of mind and keep dogs healthier and safer.

Annie Qiu

Co-Founder

For Annie, pets are family. Growing up with animals and loving her Golden Retriever, Burrito, she realized that while dogs communicate love in countless ways, they cannot tell us when they are overheating or uncomfortable. Building furcast became her way to bridge that gap and keep dogs safe.
